Trump vs Biden – what’s the difference?

If truth, fairness, and free speech were to become fashionable once again, Trump would be remembered as perhaps the most abused President in modern politics. Accused, abused, insulted, canceled, shamed and smeared, he suffered thru it all while trying to make America great again. It was a noble goal. And sadly, try as he did, it was a goal not quite reached, although there were hopeful moments of progress. Should we blame him alone? The swamp is a treacherous place, and nothing demonstrated that better than the presidency of Donald J Trump. And even if you reject everything about the politics of Trump, at least the slogan “Make America Great Again” was pretty darn good. At least Trump had a vision; and he acted on it consistently.

But what about Joe Biden? What is his vision, his dream, or at least his slogan? It’s painfully apparent he has none. In France during the age of the guillotine, there was a morbid joke going around, that sometimes the beheaded would get up from the guillotine, pick its severed head up out of the basket and tuck it under their arm, and walk around for a while. And while such jokes provoked laughter at the pubs, it is no laughing matter when a sitting president is apparently so afflicted.

It’s pretty clear Joe Biden is operating on pure autonomic political reflex, untempered by the reason and good judgement.
